We’re Menna and Jen, Para-Alpine World Cup ski racers representing Great Britain with the British Ski & Snowboard team. Menna is blind and Jen is her sighted guide, and a serving Officer in the Royal Engineers.
We’re also Paralympic Gold medallists! In March 2018 we became Britain’s most decorated Winter Paralympians in PyeongChang, South Korea, winning two silvers and a bronze alongside our Gold. Have a look at Our Results page to read more about our achievements on snow.
Visually impaired skiing isn’t for the faint-hearted. We have to work as a team to complete the course as quickly as possible at speeds of around 70 mph and ensure that we both cross the finishing line safely. It’s like rally driving with a twist - the ‘driver’ (Menna), can’t see where she’s going!
